Kerstin Peters is a visual artist who has lived in Cumberland Village for more than ten years. Looking at her work you will find many landscapes due to the regular plein air trips with various painting groups. She has painted both local attractions as well as the Quebec landscape. However, her true love are animal portraits. For her studio paintings she prefers acrylic paint, while her plein air work is done in oil due to its better characteristics for the Canadian climate.
Since 2011 she has given art courses for adults and children – both privately as well as through the City of Ottawa.
